Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling is just that “ above and beyond”. Starting with my first appointment with Mike Sandoval requesting a proposal for remodeling my pool, to signing the contract and the pool remodel being performed, the process was surprisingly quick. Each crew had a particular job to perform and did so very well. Devin was the superintendent assigned to my pool and he did an amazing job of communicating and coordinating the various crews during the entire process. Yvonne, Operations Manager, sent emails with videos to explain each phase of the pool remodel. As a single home owner, starting a large project like this caused me some anxiety but Mike assume at the beginning that he guaranteed I would be happy when the project was completed. And he was right, very happy with my “new” pool and having the opportunity to work with a great company that truly cares about providing a great experience.
Michael and his team at Above & Beyond Pool Remodeling did exactly as the name says. Michael went above and beyond to create the pool I had dreamed about. The truth is: I wish I had found this company sooner. I tried to build my own pool. I hired all the contractors individually. But, sadly, not all contractors are honest. Not all contractors stand behind their work. I stared helplessly at a pool that was just an absolute mess. I began looking for other contractors to come in and save it. Most laughed because they couldn't believe their eyes what they were looking at. But, Michael came in and looked me in the eyes, and he said "We got this." He explained what would need to happen, step by step. He was very honest about every detail and the cost to repair a brand new pool. Michael showed up on site and he paid close attention to every detail. In fact, there were times I was satisfied, but he wasn't. He made sure everything it came out flawlessly. I highly recommend them.
Above and Beyond Pools transformed our pool into one that we are proud to own. The sales rep Mike K was easy to work with. He was easy to get in touch with to answer questions and make changes to the quote as needed. His kindness and knowledge is ultimately what led us to choose Above and Beyond Pools. Devin was our superintendent during our project. He was easy going and very knowledgeable. He always answered his phone and made sure all our concerns were taken care of. AAB Pools just completed renovation and repairs needed to our pool. Listened to every concern we raised. Responded timely and made changes we asked for without a lot of endless back and forth. Devon the project superintendent did an amazing job. Was very prompt and courteous in dealing with us and made sure he was available when we needed him. We also had a large section of pavers installed as well as a channel drain. The channel drain was cut too short and never fixed and now several parts of the drain are lifted/warped. We reached out to Above & Beyond and they said it's not under warranty so they won't fix it. The drain they removed was over 20 years old and wasn't in as bad of shape as this new drain is in. We paid $39,847.70 to remodel our existing pool and put in pavers and they can't even stand behind their work just under 3 years later. If you want quality materials that last longer than a couple years, I would not recommend this company.

Above and Beyond Pools have done amazing work for us since we bought this house 6 years ago, beginning with a complete pool and deck renovation. The most recent job they just completed for us was was interlocking bricked walkway and retainer wall along the side of our house. I researched many pool remodeling companies prior to choosing Above & Beyond. I am so pleased I chose them and am completely satisfied. You are assigned a project manager who keeps in touch with you. E-mails and videos are also sent prior to the next step in the process so you have an understanding of what to expect. Our project was done quickly. "Above and Beyond" is a perfect name for this company! When we knew we had to bite the bullet to get our 20-year-old pool repaired, I looked at reviews and got quotes from several companies. Quotes were all over the board with one being "$30-$40k".One of my neighbors recommended Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling after working with them on their remodel. The quote on our pool was $14,220 (a far cry from the $30-$40k). I was nervous about moving forward as we were not going to be home during the remodel; however, they assured me that they would keep me informed during the entire process and gave me Matt as the person to manage it.What a pleasure to work with Matt and the other members of the team! Matt kept me up to date with the schedule, pictures during each step of the process, pinpointed every crack that had to be repaired, answered all of my questions when I had them, checked on things when I asked him to. Our remodel started within two weeks of signing the contract and was finished within 3 weeks.A shout out to Denise from their design team who helped me with my decisions (over the phone, by text and email) when I wasn't able to visit their showroom.Our property was kept super clean during remodel and the final walk through was done with my friend/neighbor who is super picky. We had the BEST experience with Above & Beyond pools. We have a 25 year old pebbletec pool with rolled bond beams. It was starting to crack & the pebbles were so rough. AND THEN we had a family of ducks hatch & homestead in our pool ! 5 weeks of ducklings & our pool was a disaster!!! The salesman Mike K was so helpful & their estimate was a few thousand less than the other 3 companies we called. Our project manager was Devin & he kept us informed every step of the way. We had the pool completely resurfaced, rolled beans removed & our cool deck re-paved. Denise M was so helpful with our ideas. The showroom was great - larger samples of pebble, tile & cool deck colors made it so easy to design our new look. They had it finished in 3 1/2 weeks!!! And it's beautiful! We are SO happy with the team & contractors and we LOVE our new pool!
I have very high expectations for customer service, especially when spending large amounts. I was not let down one time in the whole process. Very happy, and will recommend Mike and the team at above and beyond to anyone looking!
Pool interior looks great and love the baja deck and step that were put in. Matt is great! Even when they are busy and off schedule a bit, Mayt follows up and maintains contact to girv statuses and assure everything is getting done. They were efficient and worked well under his direction. The best and most professional part is the fact Matt was responsive and helpful even after the job was done. We thiught there was a problem from our system and he was kind enough to come by and troubleshoot. He even updated our pool service company about the issue. One of best contracting experiences with Matt at the helm.
Above & Beyond was amazing from our first meeting with Mike and going through the entire process with Chris!!! Office staff was patient and walked us through all of the choices for the interior of the pool!! Chris was always in touch and always checked on the progress and answering all my questions. We had pool that was 27 years old and it needed everything!! Each crew was so professional and clean and they all did a beautiful job!! We are happy and I would highly recommend them for quality work for good price! You will see from the before and after photos how amazing everything looks! Above & Beyond remodeled our pool and added a substantial amount of travertine to our deck and back patio areas. The suggestions made regarding the design and materials were outstanding. We had not a single complaint about the work. The workmen were like artists. The execution was flawless. Time on task was fabulous. Everyone involved in the project was highly professional and took pride in his or her specific job. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
My pool remodel by Above & Beyond in early 2020 has been plagued by consistently peeling and lifting cool decking. While initial repairs were covered under warranty, the problems have persisted. Above & Beyond now deflects responsibility, citing the expired warranty. Two years ago, I resorted to DIY patching, which, while a temporary fix, couldn't match the original texture. Now, new areas of decking are coming up weekly. Last summer, Above & Beyond referred me to a (their?) subcontractor, who confirmed widespread hollowness beneath the surface, indicating poor initial installation. He quoted over $2,000 for a full resurfacing. Properly installed cool decking should last at least 10 years; mine showed signs of failure almost immediately and hasn't even lasted half that time due to what I can only conclude is substandard workmanship.
I would highly recommend Above & Beyond Pool Remodeling. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. The entire team was professional, efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented. The quality of their work is outstanding. My pool looks beautiful. They did an excellent job! Our old pool had tiles falling off and the fiberglass also coming off. They turned it into a beautiful pebble tech pool. Each group of workers that were responsible for the next stage of the project were very conscience and paid attention to details. The project was completed on time. I felt the price was more than fair. The supervisor was always available for any questions that I had and checked on how things were going frequently. The office also kept us posted with dates and videos of the next stage. We couldn't be happier with the way the pool turned out and I highly recommend Above and Beyond Pools. Great Job everyone! I had an amazing experience redoing my pool. Everybody at Above And Beyond Pools was great to work with. The finished product is beautiful. I really appreciated Kevin who oversaw my project. We had a great experience with Above and Beyond Pool when they remodelled our pool and backyard. They resurfaced our pool and surrounding deck and built in an outdoor kitchen. Robert, their sales rep, worked with us to spec out the work and ensure we were going to get what we wanted. Once the project started, their project manager, Mathew Pham, was very easy to work with and kept the project moving throughout the work. WOW! Above & Beyond did not disappoint. I inherited a pool with an aging, painted plaster and needed to resurface it. Along with that I needed to add a couple features for accessibility (handrail, a new small step). After getting multiple quotes, I selected A&B. Cost was right where it needed to be. There were other companies that were comparable in cost (and others that were significantly more!), but no one that came even remotely close to the level of customer service from A&B. They were exceptionally responsive - from the initial request for quotation through every step of the project. Scott worked with me to ensure the project was scoped appropriately and would meet my needs in the best way possible. Kevin was always available for questions, reached out proactively as we were coming up on next steps and milestones, ensured the project stayed on track, and was onsite regularly to validate that it was done with highest quality. He worried so I didn't have to. That's true customer obsession. I also had a lot of fun visiting the office to picking out the new surface and tile; there were a lot of options for both tile and surface, so I was able to pick something I actually LIKED and suited my style, not just something that was the "best option" from a limited stock lineup of materials. On the back end, the office staff was equally as responsive with the billing and communications. All the way around, fantastic staff and outstanding job on the remodel, at the right price point. I'm already thinking about future upgrades (e.g., decking, water features), and will be sure to call them when I'm ready. It was a great experience and I couldn't be happier!
OK, a quick review for above and beyond pool, construction and remodeling. these guys were freaking awesome. Normally when I need to do a job I’m always in a hurry and dealing with contractors and plumbers. It’s always usually a hassle. This time because it was a fairly costly expense. I really did my research I just looked at the highest four reviewed companies I interviewed all of them and all of them were pretty good. I gotta say and I’d see that’s why their reviews were so amazing. I decided to go with above and beyond pools. I talked with John in the very beginning he was super knowledgeable. He just was really professional and polite, and he was really credible, and I just felt really comfortable with him. all their managers and supervisors come after each process and inspect it so we don’t have a problem after everything sealed up. Every one of those guys was just really polite like a crack military team they all worked well together the stuff came and happened so quickly, but they were so polite and so engagingthat I learned just a whole bunch of stuff that I probably needed to know. I also wanted to mention that every single person was just knowledgeable and sharp well dressed they’re all sort of good looking too, but they were great now we’ll talk about Matthew Pham. This young man was amazing! Loves his job loves his company constantly selling his company‘s benefits and boy did he deliver. It seemed like he was there every day or every other day. Supervising making sure everything was done right he was so nice and polite and professional. He just got me all pumped up on the pool and what it was gonna be like and God he’s just a great guy and he’s a total winner and will be successful in what he chooses to do. it’s not always about price, even though their price was the lowest price and their reviews are so freaking high that I don’t know. ou can have that many reviews and still maintain a five star average. This is a well run business. no problems, no complications we weren’t oversold and under delivered. 🙏

We had a very good experience remodeling our pool with Above & Beyond Remodeling. Because it was not a "planned" remodel, we were on a limited budget for this project. What I like about Above & Beyond Remodeling is that they offer flexible remodel options so that we were able to stay within budget. And, because I was unable to physically visit a showroom to pick out our tile, mini pebble and deck color selections, Scott (our salesman) brought the tile/mini pebble/deck samples to our house so that we could make our selections. Once we got started with the remodel project, Matt was assigned as our project manager. He was a GREAT communicator, letting us know what to expect during every phase of the project. He also offered us excellent customer service, even responding to our questions on weekends - definitely "above and beyond" what we expected! And, they were SUPER fast in completing our remodel project ... in a matter of weeks NOT months, way before the swimming season which was a nice surprise!!
