We recently had our pool resurfaced, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Angel was our Superintendent. He was very easy to work with. He accommodated my work schedule and communicated with us every step of the way. The customer service was better than any other company I have ever used. Honestly, this company was outstanding. Above and Beyond did an excellent job on our pool remodel. This was a complex project including new baja shelf, lighting, tile & pebble, bar stool remodel, new cleaner heads, autofill, rolled edges and renovating an infinity edge.Each part of the project was completed by skilled tradesmen and if there were every any changes or tweaks we wanted, A&B was very flexible and worked with us so that they could transform our vision into reality.The process took about 7 weeks, which included the holiday weeks in late December. The first Project Manager left the company, so Yvonne stepped in to ensure everything was done correctly. Between her, and Mike S, they took care of every detail, communicated well and ensured we were 100% satisfied. The bid price was in the middle compared to other bids, but we knew other homeowners in the area who had positive experience with Above and Beyond and so we had confidence that they would take care of us - and they did.
I am very happy with my pool. They did a great job resurfacing my pool. They were very efficient and affordable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Above and Beyond Pool.
Above & Beyond is the perfect name for this company as they went above and beyond my expectations! Not only are they professional but they were friendly, courteous and you can tell they really love what they do! They send out videos to show what they will be doing so I was always aware of what to expect. When they discovered a crack that was the “worst they had ever seen in the entire history of their company” they didn’t hesitate to call in another company (Thank you SO MUCH Clark and crew!!) to fix it the best way possible. I NEVER had to wait to talk to Kevin as he returned my calls within minutes. I really can’t say enough about them and will be recommending them to anyone who needs their pool remodeled. I had a fantastic experience with Above Pool and Beyond! Kevin is an outstanding project manager, he kept me in the loop every step of the way and went above and beyond with communication. There was a slight hiccup with one item, but Kevin and the team were quick to respond and made it right without hesitation.The crew came in, knocked out the work efficiently, and left the backyard spotless, like nobody was ever there. I understand why this company is called “Above and Beyond” because they really do go above and beyond for their customers. We got our pool redone because it was incredibly outdated and disgusting when we moved in. This company guides you through every step of the process and was quick with scheduling. Yvonne was MORE than accommodating for us. She would always adapt to our schedules (which is crazy with both of us working, having a newborn, and dogs) so trying to time everything was challenging. Ie: when to schedule the chip out around the baby or time it right so the dogs weren’t in the backyard when people were coming to work. Yvonne was so flexible and ‘beyond’ easy to work with. We are so pleased with our beautiful new pool and can’t wait to use it this summer!
Above and Beyond was recommended to me by my pool service guy. After reading the reviews and meeting with their sales person, Scott, I was looking forward to a great experience, despite how challenging construction projects can be these days...especially projects that will take 4-6 weeks. Scott worked with me to come up with a plan, explaining what was necessary, what was not, and we came to an agreement. Scott was great to work with, but the project still needed to get underway. I was introduced to Kevin Ruiz, who would be the superintendent of my project. Candidly, I was super-impressed from the beginning, but that never stopped. Kevin kept in touch with me literally every step of the way, not only regarding the timing of the project and when subs would be out, but making sure all my questions were answered and any issues I had were taken care of promptly. He would come out every few days to check on the project and to meet with me when necessary. Kevin was outstanding in every way, and so was the way Above & Beyond managed payments, scheduling and the like. These days everybody is wary of contractors, but my experience was, quite literally pretty flawless. I recommend these folks and this company without hesitation.

Above and Beyond did an amazing job remodeling my pool and backyard patio decking. Although we had a rough start, once I communicated my expectations, they improved their communication and ensured I received excellent customer service. Kevin was particularly helpful; he explained everything to me and always informed me about who would be coming to my home and the service they would provide that day. While their price was slightly higher than other quotes I received, I appreciated how the quote was broken down, and they provided a detailed description on the invoice. They also gave me a discount for being a first responder and another discount to make up for the rough start. I am very satisfied with how my pool and backyard decking turned out! I highly recommend them and would even suggest them to my own family.
A total pool renovation can seem overwhelming especially with many options.I referred by a gentleman who’s had multiple experiences working pool construction companies and without hesitation he highly recommended Above and Beyond.Extremely professional staff of associates that are knowledgeable helpful and patient working with you in your decision making process. They layout a workflow how the work will be started and completed on a timely schedule. They will actually show you a YouTube video of the application that are about to undertake which provides peace of mind. Their friendly employed contractors show up on time working diligently until completion. This process continues until the final completion of the project. Every company associate is extremely interested and vested in the project willing to answer any questions you may have. And they answer their phones and follow up.It truly was an Above and Beyond experience and they deliver on their commitment and promises.

They made a few minor mistakes on the estimate, and in box cases they covered additional costs and were very upfront about taking responsibility. We highly recommend them.

I regret having to write this review. I thought I had done my homework and found an honest and reputable company to remodel my pool. However, as it turns out, I was sadly mistaken. The quality of the remodel was subpar, and a preexisting crack was apparently never even repaired. After spending a lot of money on the remodel, all the water has leaked out and I am left with a hole in the ground. They sent out a 'crack detective' guy, but he came 3 weeks after I reported the leak and the crack could be seen with the naked eye; he of course told me what I already knew. Since that time, the company has 100% ghosted me and it's been about 1.5 months now. Today I reached out, very calmly and politely to find out what is going on , and I was treated very rudely by the warranty person (Janet) who lied to me and said they had informed me that the crack was new and would not be covered under warranty. I informed that it was a preexisting crack and I have photos of it, but while in mid-sentence I was transferred to a voicemail for somebody named Chris (no idea who that is). I, of course, will be pursuing all remedies at my disposal, but in good conscience I had to let the public know that they not only uncaring about their customers, they do not appear to be honest people. I will update this review as warranted, but for now, I would avoid them at all cost, if I were you.
Incredible service! I personally knew nothing about pools and after I purchased a home with a very outdated pool, I knew I needed some help. Not only did Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling fix my existing pool but they also gave me some incredible ideas and help on the existing issues. My pool is now unrecognizable from the outdated version with a beautiful Baja shelf installation and a working hot tub that overflows into the main pool area. They added 3 barstools that go perfectly with my backyard and outdoor TV areas. They also did the coping around my pool with the exact same travertine tile that I used for the rest of my backyard. They worked side by side with my general contractor and landscaper. Very easy to communicate with and constantly informed me on how to maintain my newly remodeled pool. They were also able to get me a heater and cooler so I can use it year round! Highly recommend! Thanks guys!

Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling did a fantastic job remodeling our 42 year old Shasta Master pool. The tile selection was amazing. The workers were unbelievable, gifted artistically. They meticulously laid each tile with precision. As a symphony they performed their craft and the end result was a most beautiful pool. We recommend them highly. You will not be disappointed.

Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling is just that “ above and beyond”. Starting with my first appointment with Mike Sandoval requesting a proposal for remodeling my pool, to signing the contract and the pool remodel being performed, the process was surprisingly quick. Each crew had a particular job to perform and did so very well. Devin was the superintendent assigned to my pool and he did an amazing job of communicating and coordinating the various crews during the entire process. Yvonne, Operations Manager, sent emails with videos to explain each phase of the pool remodel. As a single home owner, starting a large project like this caused me some anxiety but Mike assume at the beginning that he guaranteed I would be happy when the project was completed. And he was right, very happy with my “new” pool and having the opportunity to work with a great company that truly cares about providing a great experience.
Michael and his team at Above & Beyond Pool Remodeling did exactly as the name says. Michael went above and beyond to create the pool I had dreamed about. The truth is: I wish I had found this company sooner. I tried to build my own pool. I hired all the contractors individually. But, sadly, not all contractors are honest. Not all contractors stand behind their work. I stared helplessly at a pool that was just an absolute mess. I began looking for other contractors to come in and save it. Most laughed because they couldn't believe their eyes what they were looking at. But, Michael came in and looked me in the eyes, and he said "We got this." He explained what would need to happen, step by step. He was very honest about every detail and the cost to repair a brand new pool. Michael showed up on site and he paid close attention to every detail. In fact, there were times I was satisfied, but he wasn't. He made sure everything it came out flawlessly. I highly recommend them.

He was easy to get in touch with to answer questions and make changes to the quote as needed. His kindness and knowledge is ultimately what led us to choose Above and Beyond Pools. AAB Pools just completed renovation and repairs needed to our pool. Listened to every concern we raised. Responded timely and made changes we asked for without a lot of endless back and forth. Devon the project superintendent did an amazing job. Was very prompt and courteous in dealing with us and made sure he was available when we needed him. We also had a large section of pavers installed as well as a channel drain. The channel drain was cut too short and never fixed and now several parts of the drain are lifted/warped. We reached out to Above & Beyond and they said it's not under warranty so they won't fix it. The drain they removed was over 20 years old and wasn't in as bad of shape as this new drain is in. We paid $39,847.70 to remodel our existing pool and put in pavers and they can't even stand behind their work just under 3 years later. If you want quality materials that last longer than a couple years, I would not recommend this company.

Above and Beyond Pools have done amazing work for us since we bought this house 6 years ago, beginning with a complete pool and deck renovation. The most recent job they just completed for us was was interlocking bricked walkway and retainer wall along the side of our house.
